Notice that I'm not one of the people in the thread who's getting angry or complaining about Saga's service. I'm just agreeing with everyone's frustration.
All I'm saying is that an update is overdue. Hopefully a good chunk of larges are in stock regardless, but at least then can put this speculation to rest so people can just chill.

I totally forgot that the 30th was the original date. I got the shipping confirmation email on the 13th. wtf? haha. I like their customer service. Never had a problem with them.

This is why people are a bit antsy and frustrated. Not sayin you, but the fact that a lot of people have their new gear just makes others want theirs so much more.

Saga's supporters are pretty loyal, as is most of the community in freeskiing, and it would be nice to get semi-frequent updates regarding product, especially when we've all paid for it. I know their busy, but a 2 sentence blog post, facebook update or twitter post isn't going to slow down their shipping process.

god damn everyone needs to relax. its been like a day or 2 since they started shipping, not everyone is gonna get a confirmation the day of or after. That's how businesses run, I got my confirmation on the day they shipped and im sure other people did too. Be patient.

I'd search around and look for pictures of people who have already gotten their saga pants/coats ... Usually people post pictures along with their height to give you a general idea of how it fits

everyone preaching patience needs to can it, when i ordered this stuff MONTHS ago i was relying on their expected shipping date. for reasons ive already described in this thread, the estimated shipping date was extremely pivotal in my decision to buy the gear, and they stated that they were fully confident that it would be met...they chose their language carefully, so theyre probably not in breach of contract (at this point), but they're perilously close.

bottom line, if theyve got a lot of stuff in stock they need to hustle up and get it out, this pace is absurd. if there's something we need to know about that will delay shipping until next week then they NEED TO TELL US so that people like me can decide whether it would be prudent to change the shipping address so that i can intercept my gear during my winter break travels.

this isn't really a rant, it's basically just a description of what they should do to maintain a good faith relationship with their customers under a UCC Sale of Goods contract. i'm going to be doing contract exam hypos for law school all day, so if anyone is curious i might try to do a quick write-up on this situation later, including the kind of liability Saga is potentially exposing themselves to if they don't either ship the stuff make some sort of official statement soon regarding the nature of the delay.

EXACTLY. just cause saga makes sick stuff doesn't make them exempt from practicing good business and treating their customers right. Im in business school as well and after sitting in class after class learning about how to run a successful business so it drives me crazy when a company cannot even follow through on their promise to their customers

Well people just go nuts for saga so I'm betting that they just overlook the shipping and service issues. I personally have never had issues with them at all. Ordered stuff multiple times. I'm guessing just the Huge number of orders took them by surprise so it's taking them a little (2days) longer than expected. Relax little ones, everything will be ok. Shut the fuck up. Just because they make nice stuff doesn't mean that they can ignore their customers and their needs. Keep in mind that they have hundreds of dollars of ours, and they are giving no information or updates on the shipping.

im just thinking about Saga's past problems, and how 2 days could easily turn into 10, which isnt out of the question, so i just want an official update. it's making me nervous because, like i said before, my travel plans are such that i might be fucked if the stuff doesnt ship very soon. patience isn't a luxury im blessed with at the moment.

Alright, first impressions:

-HUGE, holy shit is XL saga big.
-Most durable fabric I've ever felt, I can also feel how waterproof it is. Quality
-Color is awesome, the hybrid too is the absolute most perfect blue I've ever seen
-It's awesome that there are so many pockets, I'm continually finding new ones
-Interior has a really cool design
