i think we will start to see a ton more interchangable lens cameras out there in the upcomin years. maybe ones from canon and possibly nikon even though they do not make video cameras. maybe not with a giant sensor like this but still
glad someone else has been watching Arri's development...the Alexa has been compared to if not said to be better than a RED...(I know it is a large claim, but there is more than just video resolution in the argument...)
This isn't that surprising. Wh\ile the red is awesome, it has a lot of flaws such as overheating. A lot of DP's are saying the Alexa is completely indistinguishable from 35mm film.
Canon does make video cameras. alot of people are switching to them. The T2i, the 7D and the 5D MrkII are DSLR cameras that produce very high quality video.
and the point of this thread is dedicated video cameras, not DSLRs. These cameras will still act like video cameras, and they will be much more usable than DSLR setups with all their funky quirks.
