What do you guys think of this? A team who was world cup champions in 1998, and runner up in 2006 now refuses to train to show their coach Raymond Domenech they're through, and are ready for the Laurent Blanc era. When i first heard about this, i was thinking about the nation of france, who are pulling for them to perform for their country, is it selfish of the team to do this?? It's obviously an embarassment to France...

yeah exactly, i think maybe in the long run if they're able to get rid of this coach they can be a contender again, but you gotta think how the nation of france feels knowing their team isn't even going to try... and its espn, it'll be all over the news for weeks

I dunno man, thats f'ed up. Anelka is a really key player. Their coach seems weird and seems like one of those guys who just doesn't play the right people and makes the game not fun for the players cause they know they could do better. I wonder what Zidane thinks. Sometimes it helps for a guy just to stand up to someone and just be like "F U" to give the coach a wake up call cause France is def a contender to win the world cup if they could get their shit together.

This world cup has frankly been a shit show for Europe. Bitching in both the French and England camps amongst players, managers and fans, and two of the best teams, including the favourites beaten by minor teams
