A guy at my yacht club has a Broward 120, and it is absolutely beautiful. A bit extravagant, but still amazing. Ridiculously expensive though. I think realistically, I'd maybe like to have a Fairline Squadron 78. Another guy 2 docks over has one and it's really sick, and not as expensive as the Broward.

You mean a Burger? And I wouldn't want to own one, maybe captain one, but never own one. The cost of upkeep on those big yachts, especially one outfitted like a Burger, is ridiculously high. I could probably by a fleet of awesome, almost my dream boats, for the amount of money pit into one of those in a year.

This is a boat I could ideally eventually afford, but by the time I have enough to afford a real boat these will all be ancient and outdated. I just love the lines, layout, and it's perfect for anchoring in little bays and spending a week or two on the water. Fucking love boating.

I'm not quite sure what you're implying there, but what I was getting at is that the guy who posted that was almost definitely joking, and you had to jump in and prove him wrong. I think it's time for an upgrade to your meter.

thats such a sick boat. we just sold our j/105 beacuse theres not a large class around here, and my dad hates PHRF racing. we are looking into J80s now cuz they have a pretty solid one design class, and they are easily trailerable. if you got that pic from the website, im pretty sure my dads company made those sails

my family used to have a J22 when i was really little, they still have a really big class though, they are great small keelboats. i have an F18 catamaran that reaches speeds comparable to the aussie 18, its pretty ridiculous how fast they can go

bump

did anyone watch 'Louie' a couple weeks ago with that cigarette boat at the end? trying to find more pictures of it. what is the name of that boat? was that custom paint?

it was a white boat and had a bold, multi-colored/rainbowish stripe that was kind of scribbled randomly over the whole boat, very 90's looking paint but seemed like a newer boat
