Stitches in finger

so on wensday i broke my RooR diffusor and my Zumo was about to fall to its death until i reached to save it. However, i grabbed where the diffusor had broke and cut myself to the bone on my right-ring finger. I got 7 stitches and am in the healing process now. My question is how can i prevent from bumping it against something/getting bacteria in it? and when i apply polsporin should i let it sit on the cut or wipe it off after?

Hahaha man.

But just put some sort of bandage around it. I had some stitches in my finger a couple of winters ago, and i rolled a bandage around it a couple of times. Worked just fine.

You put on the shit they give you either wipe or no wipe(Personal Preference, however go with you gut feeling), wrap it with tape/guaze/wtf else and leave it alone

Where on your finger got cut? Hope its not a spot where you cant bend your finger cus it will reopen the wound. I had that. I accidently stabbed myself in my finger, shit sucks man. Just wrap it with athletic tape and let it heal.

Me being a dumbass, I stuck my finger in the brake rotor on my mountain bike, cut down to the bone, 7 stitches done in my garage by my neighbor. I covered it the first day, then said fuck it. I just left it uncovered the whole time, no infection. I cut the stitches out a week after I got them with my pocket knife. This happened 5 weeks ago, just about fully healed, and most of the feeling back.

just rub the neosporin or whatever in, don't put so much on that there is enough to wipe off.

If you are really banging it around then find one of those metal/blue foam finger splints for when you break your finger and tape that on.

well i mean if you want to get specific, the teeth on the leeches are much more uniform, they go alot farther down than the finger things, and are more rounded.

im not saying its not photoshopped or fake, i am just saying it looks gross and not really leech like because that would make it less believable and gnarly
