NS Member Gathering At SnowPark Niagara Falls

hey guys,

you may have seen the other snowpark thread in the regionals and there was talk about having a big event gathering at snowpark. i thought it deserved its own thread as this could turn out to be really awsome.

the event will be held sometime in july, there is talk about the 10th or the 17th (please put in your input as we want as many people to attend as we can.) I have made a facebook event page (http://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php?eid=130494573641438)

i have talked to snow park and if we can tell them the estimated amount of people and when it is, we can get special group rates, BBQ and a photographer in there.

Join the event page on fb and any suggestions for dates are welcome.

im down for either date, im only like 30-40 mins away anyways. 10th would be best for me cause its the taste of buffalo so i could get a rent to drive me and just have them go to the TOB. but either is good, and nice idea. btw i bloowwwww. 1st season in the park so dont expect much

I find it funny how many people on NS rep KB. I mean you have the kids like Smuffy and Notorious DPI who run the how there now, then you have kids like Cvan and Creighton, and now you. Pretty sick if you ask me.

wait quick question to the guys that have been to Niagara in the summer before....

ive never been, what do you guys recommend for an outfit? i was thinking snowpants and a t shirt but like will I die of heat if I wear snowpants?

sorry if this sounds really gay i just dont wanna get there and be pissed all day ya know?

anyone with past experience please give me some advice

I went a couple days ago and was just chillin in shorts and a tall tee, but there wasn't much snow. Last fall I wore snowpants everytime because it hurts when you fall and get turfburn.

nah dude its a legit question. its kind of a tricky situation haha. it hurts real bad to fall on the snowflex/slush, so if you can wear snowpants and a sweatshirt got for it. however, usually its too hot so i end up wearing shorts and suckin up the burn

yea definitaly a legit questions and i wondered this the first time i went aswell. first time i wore splash pants or w.e they are called (real thin snowpants without the think lining) and worked out not bad, this was in october though.

last summer when i went i just had a pair of jeans on (gaper style yeaaa) and a tall tee and jeans arn't the most flexible things, but worked out to be fine.

i'd wear sweatpants and a t-shirt but dont fall on your arms. if you're worried about that then wear a light long sleeve.

Does anyone know what you need to cross the border? Im 16 and im planning to go with someone is 17-18. Other then a passport, are there any official documents i would need?

I know that all you usually need to get from the US into Canada is your passport, but some customs agents are more anal that others.  You should be fine with your passport but just to be safe bring a copy of your birth certificate or something like that.

I think you might need a signed note from a parent/guardian that you can travel with this person etc. Not sure about that though.

FFFFFFFF i cant do the 10 but i can the 17th. im not going to bitch about it so if we can we should plan another later in the summer. we should serously make another one later, i know at least 5 ppl that would be down.

im thinking about this too. the weather is supposed to be sooooooo hot. (32 degrees plus humidity) and there is no way that im gonna be in jeans or anything long sleeve.

what would you guys think if you just post powned this one untill a better date for everyone and a little cooler.

maybe late augest before school starts?

about an hour and 15 minutes. usually the border waites arn't to bad. but i have been stuck in them for like an hour before.

Really holy shit that's how long it tales me to get to the cottage lol. My family is making "family plans" this weekend and am not sure I can attend. I'm really hoping to have another one later in the summer. Then more people can attend. Right now I no that I couls get abot 30 people to go but they are at coc or momentum this weekend. Keep me posted if you guys all go this weekend. I still may be able to et out of thes plans with the fam.
