tamron f/2.8 17-50 according to the description under the video.


And that was a nice little edit, had a good summer vibe. Did you use tri-pod, steady-cam, ect.. at all? Lots the of shots seemed really smooth for just hand held use

thanks everybody! glad you all like the edit, was a pretty fun afternoon! =) I didn't use a tripod, however, I did use a shoulder mount for about half the shots, it made some of the shots a bit hard so I did without it for the second half of the time we were there.

And yea, the lens I used was the Tamron f/2.8 17-50

haha no worries, I really don't mind. I never said I didn't want anyone to embed, just rather people watch it in HD. Quality looks pretty good either way =)

uhm...it's definitely different to film with, but not in a bad way. About half the shots in the edit were shot with a shoulder mount, the other handheld. I would def recommend having some sort of stabilizing system though....

That's sick that said the whale is getting out there now, that's my sisters friends band!  She gave me their CD a while back and i liked em but i never knew people actually knew about them?!

Having a t2i isn't going to make your edits look better, you have to learn how to use shit. You could make just as good of an edit with your camera.

I liked it, you color graded nicely and the shots were very stable, shoulder mounts are bomb. It was a real feel good edit for sure. That spot looks awesome id love to jump off that bridge.

thanks man, appreciate it. Yea, the shoulder mount def helps a lot...specially by allowing you to focus without effecting the stability of the camera...definitely a whole different world from the HVX haha

if you mean what resolution, I shot everything at 720p. I prefer shooting 720p on my HVX too, really any action sport I like to shoot in true progressive.
