Jobs For Teenagers.

i'm 15 and i need a job for the summer, i turn 16 at the end of August and at 16 you can work at most major places around here. but i just need something for until i turn 16. i don't want to work at a fast food chain because all of my friends that have worked there said they hated their life after. serious answers only please.

I'm 15 and mow peoples lawns in the neighborhood. Just put flyers at houses that are a walkable distance. I also work at a local bike shop, that was just luck that i got that job. It's one of those jobs that you get for  just knowing people. Maybe you have a similar situation?

I applied to the local waterpark, dominoes, a restaurant or two, grocery stores, etc. Get a resume going and go wild, you don't have much choice at this stage

jobs seem to be harder to come by this year, you gotta get a good resume going and if u dont have any real experiance a well written cover letter can get u into alot more interviews

i work at a domino's pizza. its aighttt. the toppings are pretty tedious but when theres no orders, my buddy and i and the manager just chill and laugh. too bad we get no hours.
ill probably wash dishes this summer if i cant get a landscaping job

thanks for the advice everyone, it's just really hard because i live in long island and there is so many college kids around here and they employers would rather give the job to them than me.

^ this. schools pretty much over and all the good jobs are taken. you should be trying to get whatever job you can, who cares what it is, you need the money at this age. plus its only 2 months. thatll fly by and youll be back in school realizing "damn i have 3g's in my bank.. shiieetttt" and youll love life

Im 16, my friend works at a country club and was told he had a 3 day a week easy job, and they have jewed him into working 6 days a week and he has to be there everyday at 4:30 am

It's tough to find jobs as a teen, especially at your age. Since you can't drive, that is another turn off to potential employers. I worked a job last Summer at the age of 15, but that's because of who I knew.

im 17 now but ive had a township job since i was 15. check with your town to see if theres something in the parks and rec area. i work maintenance at a town pool club so see if theres something like that

im working this summer for my dads company. he i the production manager/graphic artist for a promotional product company. i work in the back as pretty much the screen printers assistant. i really like it. screen printing is sick imo.

plus i have been designing web sites and repairing computers for family and friends which is extra money.

looking to make at least 2 grand this summer.

o by the way im 15 and turn 16 in september. dont have to buy car because my dad who now drives an audi a4 2.8 liter avant is getting an audi s4 4.2 liter avant soon.

so i am super pumped

ya man, i am in the same boat as you right now. I had a job until the dumbass owner was flipping all of his stuff. might go hit up a bike/skate shop for a job, not that good of pay but at least ill be doing what i love to do....get money.
