Which cam

I have been looking for a cheap cam to fool around with and make a few edits..I have narrowed my choices down to:

Which cam am I better off with for a clear picture with a wide angle?

obviously the first cam has full HD 1080p but the second one which is 720p is more expensive...I am confused an a complete camera noob so somebody help me out

To be honest there won't be much fooling around with either of these in the sense of creative videos - no offense, but these are even below your standard soccer mom camera.

Save up, and buy something better. You will not regret it. Work this summer for some extra skrilla and buy before ski season.

i dont know much about the other cam, but this and all my other edits were filmed on a Sanyo CG10. I'm pretty happy with it, and id say its a great cam for the price. hope this helps.
