Royal Caribbean/Drinking

So i'm going on a mediterranean cruise in a few days, and I wanna be able to drink. Problem is that its 21 on the boat, unless your rents sign a waiver, then its 18. They won't and I'm 17.

So is it that hard to get served on the boat?

My plan was to buy some in france or italy, and either drink it then or bring it on in a water bottle or camelbak

I don't think it will be hard to buy on shore, biggest issue will prbly be my rents, cuz they said they will let me drink, just not unlimited.

So any ideas or anyone with experience that can give advice?

I thougt about that, but it's all cashless so I'd have to pay cash which isn't a problem, but I also heard with the waiver that hey have a habit of cutting u off
and ik they check bags, I was planning on filling a camelbak with water at the first port as a little test so that if they didnotice I could empty it, because I have heard of people doing it

when they ask if you're 18, just be like 'today i am' and if they're cool they'll give it to you

yea after you are given your room key you will have a hole punched in it saying you are under 21. what i did (i was 18 at the time and it was the first week of the must be 21 and there was no waiver) was i went back to the kiosk woman and told her i lost my room key. she made me a new one and forgot to hole punch it. obviously this won't work every time but it did for me so good luck!

dude don't even fuck with it drinking is bad, if they catch you you'll probably go to a NATO Jail cause you're in international waters breakin' the law.. not fun man. Plus all the legal shit to get you out and back to the states. Just order kiddie cocktails :)

I went on a cruise and all along the Mediterranean they are super chill about drinking.
They do check your bag and shit when you get back on, so the Camelback may be your best bet for getting it on off shore. On the boat though, everyone is fucking chill with eachother, so make friends.. That's what I did.

just be buddy buddy with the bartender. i've been on rc cruises a bunch of times and the bartenders are all pretty good.
we kept trying to convince the guy to give us some alcohol and he agreed to but there were always other people there unfortunately.
you've got no chance of bringing alcohol back on the boat. they x-ray your bag and stuff and confiscate all alcohol until you leave, so they can make money selling their own liquor. I don't remember if they check bottles or not though.

Just hang around the bar a lot and chat with the bartenders and they'll hook you up. They hate their job most likely since the cruises pay them probably $10 grand a year for shitty cabins, working 16 hour days, almost no vacation, and spending multiple months away from home at a time.

age is like through the travel agent and passport so even if theywanted to they couldn't
and they said they would let me drink a little
they just don't want to make it seem like they are cool with it all the time or something
