Salomon SPK boots really sucks

Everyone buys them because the are so common everywhere but are the really good ? plz put some feedback of all the salomon park boots. Bird Is The Word. It's The Law

i like my spk's they're comfortable and fairly light. they simply fit my foot.

I liked my spk's at first but once the liners started to pack I got some hotspots, maybe my boot is just a little to big.

I used to ride the SPK pro models last season and after moving to Full Tilt Booters this year I wouldn't go back

hahaha, do you know why you wont go back? because if your foot fits a full tilt there is no way spk's were the right boot for you. unless you got the wide FT's

Well I had both of them with custom insoles made so it wasn't that the SPKs didn't fit me correctly. I just prefer the style and flex of the Full Tilts. Plus they're a lot lighter too I think.

There is no foot on the planet that fits full tilts and spks.

I mean that you get shin bang pretty easily with them because they are made for thick legs.

Exact same thing happened to mine. Were all good for maybe 80 days, now I get hot spots on the inside of my ankle.

Just got a heel lift and a slight punch done on the liners and they feel 1000 times better.

Solid boots though, IMO.

not necessarily true.
my foot is average, not sure wide. i wore SPK Pro's with a custom insole all last season. they were definitely useable, but not too comfortable. they created some hotspots on the outside of both of my feet and were a little tight on my ankles. but i never felt like my feet were moving around in them or sliding, even after the liners packed out.
now i finally bought a pair of FT Konflicts. before heatmolding the liner, they were too skinny. but after molding they fit great. the liner can expand like 6mm after the molding, which is quite a bit.

I picked up a pair last year and ive probably rode on the 5 times and they still dont feel right. Where can i go to get them custom fit?

Just because you had custom footbeds in a boot dosent mean it fitted well, it just means your foot was stabilised and supported somewhat. Fulltilts are narrow as hell, the SPK is pretty wide.

It can take a couple of days before they feel right. It took me about 3 weekends before I stopped having shinbangs.

You can fit in both full tilts and spks, the sizing will just be off. I have 28.5 dalbello's and my foot fits in my friends 27.5 spk's. But this may not be the case with everyone. My foot seems to be a happy medium with fitting into boots of all widths, as long as it is fit correctly. I ALWAYS go to a boot fitter though.

i have them, they are a sick boot, super light and comfy, wide enough for my feet, but like first week of using them, they broke. and more parts keep breaking, so i think im gunna try the new wide booters.

I have another pair off boots. They fits perfect but my foot allways sleeps in it :( wich is annoying and kinda painful :D
