I would say 90% of the time anyone goes down in soccer, they're faking it. Although I do agree that the refs go for it a lot more often with the big players.
Basketball's retarded, let's bounce a ball and run back and forth on a wooden floor trying to throw said ball through a small hole ten feet up!
Football's retarded, let's run back and forth down a field holding an odd shaped ball, and if we can't get it to the other side, we'll kick it through some big yellow poles!
Etc, etc. Your argument is invalid. Every sport seems retarded when you boil it down. I'm not even a huge soccer fan, but there's a lot more going on than just running around for 90 minutes.
you're dumb.
pro refs, especially in the world cup, are tought to look for diving and give yellows. you'll see it way more in the world cup than anywhere else. its a shitty part of the game, most players do it and it sucks. ronaldo is a lot more likely to get away with it, not because he is a big name player, but because he the best dribbler in the world, don't like him but its a fact. sometimes its obvious but when his legs are moving a mile a minute around the ball and the player, defenders end up hitting his body a lot, intentional or otherwise, and in the event that they get the ball or he just loses it, he'll go down because its too hard for the ref to tell if the defender's foot hit his body or the ball. he'l been doing it his whole life he prbably gets more calls than anyone in the world. for anyone that has ever watch highlights of him, aka every soccer fan, he does crazy moves and falls half the time but more often than not he gets taken out. for those of you that took the time to read this, thank you.
