Yeah really.... Ever skied big sky? I skied there over 200 times over the past 4 years and still find places I've never been before. And for the vertical they have have close to 3000 steep, and I mean sustained steeps on the back side of lone peak... Not kicking Alta or the bird there pretty much steep all the way. But I gotta give size to big sky.

epic day in a most un-epic EC winter. I was snowshoing the prezzies the week after that and it felt like the PNW, with pines sagging so far under heaps of snow. best image of the winter for me, and the deepest I've ever seen for one dump.

100% guarantee that was not taken on the east coast.

Deepest I've ever skied was about 45cm, but I had to hike for it.

no pics or video, but the deepest day i ever had was at fernie a few years back. it was truly bottomless. only being able to see 1/4 of the time because your deep in the thick of it... mmmmm.

yeah man, you deserve a break. go to utah next march and enjoy the indisputably superior snow. meanwhile, for the loyal and patient yankees, there will be one less skier in new england when we get a freak dump. sure most of the time its shit, but that makes us appreciate the few wx systems that really deliver. you just have to be here for them...
