Literally everyone should turn off their Fancy (GUI) Editor.

Unless you regularly make your posts in Bold, Italics, or Underlined you should turn that thing off. Why?

1. All links become hyperlinks automatically.
2. Video embeds always work.
3. Posting pictures is mega-easy ------> [IMG]ImageURL[/IMG]
4. Pages load faster.


Just do this:

Go to: "Manage My NS" (upper lefthand corner) --> Scroll down to "Enable the Fancy Editor (GUI)?" --> Click no.

Yeah, that's the reason I turned it off- so that it would work with my iPhone before the iNS app came out. I left it like that since it made stuff so much better.

Nahhh, $2.00USD. All it shows is the forums. Nice and quick though. Worth it if you want a faster NS and hate having to zoom in all the time. However, I do hate that you can't click on any links or photos.

I actually disagree. It works, albeit imperfectly, with Chrome and is really simple to use. However, we really need some HTML5/JavaScript in here. Let's ditch the Fancy/Simple system and get a single, unified WYSIWYG editor that allows a certain number of features: -Bold, Italic, Underlined text -Hyperlinking that doesn't require removal of the (http://) tag -Easy YouTube/Vimeo/NS video posting (i.e. just the link) -Easy image posting that can't be fucked up -All 3 Justifications: Is it that hard to add "Justify Left"? -Facebook/Twitter linking -Text colors perhaps? PLEASE take a look into this for the next update.

how do i embed videos without the fancy editor I always turn it off cuz it never loads especially when trying to quote somebody The only reason i ever switch is when i wana embed a video so teach me how to do that with the reg post box

    easy, just right click the image, click copy image location (might be a little different depending on browser, i.e. image URL etc.) then copy and paste it between image tags.

    The fancy editor has never failed me... never tried to use the html if someone wants to give me some insight in how to use it.

    turn off fancy and it says at the bottom.

    just use one of those tags, and to end it, put a slash in the front of the symbol.

    For example < b >lkasdflk;jweofcijaspodijfawe

    No spaces in the tag though
