yeah it looks so dope. it won the sundance film festival. another movie that is gonna be off the hook is In Search Of Captain Zero. it wont be coming out for awhile, but sean penn has signed up to direct it. in the newest issue of surfer theres a big interview with the guy that wrote the book. its all about surfing and drug smuggling

yah. i saw dogtown this weekend in denver. my dad dropped me and my brother off at the theater with our board and when the movie was over i was like 'Damn! I wanna skate!' kinda wierd tho, it got me more stoked to skate than any other skate movie ive seen!

Why would you wanna see old guys skate like fags? Yeah it was the beginning of a cool sport and they made todays version of skating possible, so they deserve props but why watch them skate like dorks? I fucking love skiing but I could care less about the 70s hot dog movement.

Are you kiding me? Oldschool tricks are some of the best around and most technical. Besides bowl/pool riding is the best skateboarding terrain ever. Not only do they reserve props, they deserve your respect, come on man!

YEAH! and i bet you cant kick turn like ME! its cool to see what kind of tradition youre upholding by participating in whatever sport. oh yeah, there would be no freeskiing without the 'gay hotdog movement.'

Pools are cool as hell. Old school tricks are gay dude, its like ski balet. Yes I mentioned that freesking probably wouldnt have been possible if it werent for the 70s hotdoggers, I still think its gay. Whatever thats just my opinion.

i watched something about the movie on mtv one night, and it made me want to skate so i went into my shed and pulled out my old plastic banana board. i took the trucks off my board because i dont use it anymore and was trying powerslides like that all day out on the street, it was fun as hell

Well I just saw it and I must say it was awesome. Great footage of surfing and skating and superb explanation of the history. One of the best movies Ive seen In a long, long time. Warning: Some people might not enjoy it b/c it pretty narrative, But I didn't mind it at all, I absolutley loved it. Was just out practicing my old school moves on my longboard!
