i have a question for you. how does line's warranty suck? they've had the best warranty around since they started. yes 4frnts warranty is great because its two years but do they warranty practically anything like line will? line is the only company around that warranties rail damage even though its printed that no company warranties that.
and like malczyk said. with the new line of Line skis you won't need a warranty. i'm going to repeat something i've said on this site numerous times. at the Freeskier jib fest at Mount Snow, Justin Gillern a Line ground troop was sessioning the Carinthia Deck Jib (if you don't know what this is check out Forward Liam Downey does it.) Numerous times he rode over the cheese grate stairs, the wooden deck (sliding into neil of sas films along with the building,) and the rocks at the bottom in the parking lot. His Chronics were practically perfect after. There were no gashes in the base & no problem with edges. These skis are by far the most bombproof ski ever made. none of this bullshit like the troublemaker last year where it was being said that it was the most bombproof ski then it fell apart on everyone. Line skis are skis that can stand up to conditions most skis would get destroyed under.
i'm not knocking 4frnt. matt sterbenz has done a great thing and i'm sure it will only get better as years go by. as someone else above said..buy whatever ski is going to fit YOU. you could demo these at a few mountains around the east including a shop at killington. i'd suggest trying to do that before you go out and buy a pair of skis. you may love them or you may hate them.
