anyone own some on3ps or surfaces? what are they like?

Never heard a bad thing about ON3P. They make really high quality stuff. Just got some Surface Nine Life's, but I can't really say to much about them as I haven't ridden them yet.

yeah Ive heard good things about on3p, but only just today (somehow I just discovered them even though im from portland). I dont here much on surface though,

Surface is nothing but quality. Can't really go wrong with either. however if you are getting park skis go with on3p. I have heard nine lifes break like a tooth pick. Hope that helps.

surface is a very legit company! you can usually find their skis for a steal. Watch lifes are bomb-proof and all their powder and all mountain skis are too. they make them very durable and they ride very well.

BUT their designated park ski being the Nine Life was very spotty this year. People had edge cracks and snapping in half. I'm sure they've got that fixed for next years product though

yeah just play ski, im usually on fattys... my play ski right now are 2009 seths.... I broke (pretty much shattered) my nordica ignitions

watch life or green life sounds like it might work best for you coming off seths.... dimensions are fairly close but these are a bit stiffer. rip it up everywhere the same though

I have friends (Fishgills ^) with Surfaces, and the construction seems very good, and they love them. although I picked up the nine life (park ski) at Evo and had a strange sensation: I was super careful flexing them and stuff because I honestly felt like they were going to fall apart. They seem super super cheap and flimsy. I also own some ON3P Wrenagades, and although I havent ridden them yet, I can honestly say that they are the nicest skis I have ever owned or seen. Super bomb construction, light weight but still sturdy and bombproof, and sick looking. The customer service is also unmatched, I was talking directly with Scott for a long time and had a ton on questions about the skis and although I'm sure that I annoyed him, he was really nice and answered everything quickly and gave me tons of info. Also, I ordered the skis Thursday afternoon, and they arrived at my house at 10:15ish Friday morning. (I live in Issaquah, WA, but still!) Cant go wrong with either, but if its park skis, definitely get ON3Ps.

just looked em up... no those are just what im lookin for, ive been on bigger. after looking at the on3p website though I think the jeronimos sound awesome.

also surface's park skis are complete shit. so if you plan on hitting any kind of rail features, i would skip on them.

All issues with Nine life have been fixed for next year!   It was really spotty most people rode theirs hard all year with problems, a few had issues!

Both my pairs of on3p's are amazing in every aspect, that's why I will by buying another pair this season and recommend them to everyone.

Surface skis are generally super light, lighter than most other comparable skis. The 184 New Life feels like a set up park skis next to 179 hellbents.

The one downside is they have slower bases.
