I JUST SPILLED AN ENTIRE GLASS OF OJ ON MY LAPTOP.......



WHAT DO I DOO!!??!?!?!


is this fixable?

can i get my data back?

If your comfortable taking it appart & taking a "can-o-air" to it then go for it, you have a good chance of getting it to work again if there was no smoke or "kzzzzzzzrsh" noises.

If you can't get it working there are a few ways you can get your files back.
1 : Take it to a shop & have them transfer the files to your new computer.
2 : Look for an external laptop HDD kit & convert that drive to an external drive which you could pull your files from then use to backup or whatever you wish

get a giant bag of rice and put your laptop in it.

don't know if that would work though... would definatly go to the store you bought it asap

well it was off so there werent any noises.

i alreeady looked for a way to take it apart but it seems that none are very easy.

and how would i get my data off it if i cant even turn it on?

you'll have to take it to the store where they can get into your internal memory. without your computer turning on im not sure if they can get your data off of it unless you have a external memory backup but. theres ways that they might be able to do it

take battery out, take apart as much as you can, let dry for a while, put back together. if its wet and you turn it back on it will prob break.

unless you're some kind of genius computer nerd, i would take it to a store so they can help you recover your shit. i mean, a whole glass of oj? don't try to do anything yourself, you'll end up fucking it up worse in the long run.

^ i spilled milk on my acer aspire 3100 that im using right now. took it to one of my friends and he did some crazy computer nerd stuff and got it to work my f1-f4 keys dont work but yeah. deff bring it to a local shop nd have them look at it
