Replying to Progression
I was sitting back watching some of the new edits that are coming out now and started to think about skiing progression. And before you read on this isn't a "how much further can we go" type of thread, just something i noticed.
I'm not 100% on this but I'm sure I will be corrected, doubles started about 4 years ago? The idea of them was kicked around and people slowly began to dip their toes into the unfamiliar waters to be on the cutting edge of progression. To this day, four years later, people are still learning some new variations of doubles. There is nothing wrong with that, in fact it's kind of interesting that the trick isn't completely unoriginal yet. What blows my mind is that triple corks are going to start up during the summer sessions (they kind of already have) and you will see everyone throwing down during next season like it's their last day on earth.
My point of this is double corks are reaching the end of their "wow" factor shelf life and triples are just being introduced. It's good to see that in a sport and I for one can't wait to see whats going to happen with them.
