Whatever you do, please, please do not get the persimmon or HI persimmon lens.  I've had goggles and glasses with this lens and it is absolutely useless.  It just blends everyhtin into one big orange blur.  My fire lens is better in flat light.  Definitely get the HI yellow.

i really like my standard black iridium lens for bluebird days, but i ordered a HI yellow lens for flat light, and i think its gonna be one hell of a lens !

I have HI persimmon too and I like it much better than HI yellow. SO good for cloudy and snowy days.

I used HI persimon last season and loved it for overcast/greybird/snowy flatlight.

I don't know what that other guy is talking about.

Well if you're looking for an all around lens, go with blue iridium or pink iridium.

Both look great on the mountain and provide lots of light for overcast days.

Blue iridium lets in more light so it's better in overcast conditions but your eyes might be sensitive to light.

Pink iridium is basically the best bang for your buck. It looks sweet it lets in less light than blue iridium but it lets in just enough so you can see in the cloudy/overcast conditions.

If you're looking to swap out lenses my two recommendations are clear and Hi Yellow.

Clear is perfect if you're looking to do some night skiing as well. Clear allows you to see everything is any condition.

Hi Yellow is the absolute best for the cloudy days, but ONLY for cloudy days. It lets in to much light to be used on even partly cloudy days.

Looks like I'm taking a lot of hate here.  Just talking from my experience, I've had some bad luck with the lens.  Judging from a lot of other opinions out there, it sounds like it's just not right for me.  But oh well just thought I'd share my opinion on it.

Actually ruby clear is an amazing lens. Nothing better for flat light and it looks really good. The blend of colors is really sweet. It's like fire iridium for flat light.
