No its actually a really legit 90's anime show that has a lot of style and really good music, its one of those anime shows you don't really have to be a huge anime nerd to appreciate.

And before fanboys start trippin balls, apparently the creators of the anime will have a large level of direct involvement with the film.

i feel like its either gonna be sick as hell, or they will completely ruin it. keeanu reeves is a pretty terrible actor too, but he could make a good spike.

No trailer yet, honestly I guess you could just call it an internet rumor at this point, not sure if its on IMDB yet, but I have heard it from multiple sources online. So far only details seem to be Keanu Reeves as Spike, Fox as producers, and involvement from anime team.

Keanu Reeves isn't exactly Micheal Caine or even Brad Pitt, but I honestly think he would fit in to that role well, and I do like him when he's cast well (A Scanner Darkly anyone)?

Ok so supposedly Reeves confirmed involvement in an MTV interview, thats pretty legit. Also supposedly the script is being rewritten because the original one came out extremely well but projected costs of half a billion! lol
