Exposure contest....

The super underknown contest was a really good idea and I think you could do a similar contest to it in that you just get a lot of exposure if u win. Like a lot people say 'Well, yeah I could do that and be that good if I lived in and skied in Mammouth everyday.' - well shit why not make a contest outta that. Like the winner is moved into a pro skiing scene one whole year ( for example they live wit a bunch of pros in mammouth), all equipment and passes are paid for, flights schwag, living space, etc.....and they just get to ski with all the pros, get filmed and get invitations to all the photo shoots. Although I dunno how you could pick people for it I guess it would be like everyone send in bio of their lifestyle and how skiing has an impact on it, of course footage of them skiing, maybe somethin explaining why they wana become a pro skier but just can't do it either because of location, job, lifestyle,etc.....I think it would be really really interesting. I mean even if they couldn't live up to it and progress to becoming pro they still get to 'live like a pro for a year.' So I gues you could say tha contest would be 'live like a pro for a year.' I guess if they were that good though, they could just stay pro and shit i dunno. Hardest part would be gettin people out of their dailey lives and stuff. Maybe instead picking one person they could select like 10 people and they could all compete for a end year to become an official pro skier.

damn good idea, but there is not money to put into something like that. plus i think that skiing is so sweet because the people who are pros have sacrificed enough to be there. they quit school, or quit their job and they succeed.

Just rip off the Race Face ultimate Freeride Challenge if you're gonna have a contest. Kinda like Level 1 did, but stay true to the format.

^ haha yeah I was kinda thinkin that when I thought the whole idea. haha 10 people live together and they compete against each other and the final winner becomes pro and jmo could host it cause thats all hes good for now.

we could call it teh ski bacheclor and tape it and send it ABC and they'd run it and skiing would be famous and we could hand out roses to who we want to stay and ski and the losers would have to move to nebraska where you can't ski EVER
