Since the day I bought skate 3 I have been having this problem where I have to open and close the disk tray about a thousand times before my xbox reads it. There isn't any scratches on the disk either because I never took it out.
this happening to anyone else????????

i downloaded skate 1 onto my harddrive and i still need to pu tthe disc in for it to play. so how do i give my xbox teh red rings? I already had them before and the xbox im using now is a replacement i got after sending my old one in

Just get a new disk drive, not too expensive. And/or send it to Xbox and ask for a replacement, because if you do it yourself it is a little bit illegal, so make sure your off of Xbox LIVE.

sounds like you have a real piece of shit on your hands. how about you trade in that piece of shit in and get a ps3. you will never have any problems with it. i know 3 kids that have launch systems and they have had not one problem with their ps3.

for some reason none of the cods never made me mad (although i do have 2.25 kdr right now in mw2 so...) although one time playing halo 3 i threw my remote through the wall. that game made me want to kill someone. really a plastic remote halfway through the drywall just lodged in it.

It is illegal because that is how you are able to play non registered/pirated games, by messing with your disk drive, Microsoft knows this and they obviously try to stop this. It is not terribly hard to put in, but if you don't know how the Xbox goes back together you are seriously fucked.
