Which ski should I buy to complement my Scratch FS WRS?
I'm 5'10" and weigh about 180 lbs. I'm a Level III skier, but by no stretch of the imagination am I a pro or expert skier. For example I struggled skiing Hellbrook Trail off the summit of Mt Mansfield, which is a 10 to 15 foot wide trail with lots of tight trees, natural twists and falls, and other obstacles (rocks, boulders, stumps, fallen trees, etc) I also ski all over the East Coast if that makes a difference. They places I ski at get between 200 and 400 inches a season so I'll be skiing everything from ice, to packed power, to slush, to corn, to powder of varying water content.
I'm basically looking for a ski to handle the powder (I've never used more than a park ski in powder), have some fun in the park (although I have my Scratches for when I spend all day in the park), and just to have more fun all over the mountain (I've heard that Bacons and EP Pros make skiing the mountain, including groomers, so much more fun, like just viewing everything as one giant terrain park where every little thing becomes a terrain feature to tap, bonk, jib, slide, jump, gap, slash, or butter)
Which one would be better for me? Again am looking for a ski to handle powder, a little bit of park, and to take all over the mountain and groomers to play around on. Keep in mind I have my Scratches for pure park as well as ice and crud if need be, as I have heard that crud on EP Pros is hell.
