both of my buddys got their shit.

the XLT doesn't fit my buddy, because he's 330 pounds and 6'8 but the length is perfect just too narrow.

but my XLT LDC fits him.

so i'm wearing the first drop skiing today. i'm 5'10, i advise you to NOT buy XLT unless you're taller than 6' it's stuuuuuuuuuuuupid big

5'8-5'9ish 150lbs, the jacket comes further down that the picture makes it look, about 3-4in from my knee...I wish it was a little taller but im pretty happy with it. Size is large, and the zipper is 33 not 34 like they said, stuff is pretty wide.

That's fun, mine is supposedly going to be here tomorrow... Although the tracking number says that it's departed from UPS location in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. Which is down one state... However never fear, I have a theory!

The shipment has been that way since Saturday night, and mail doesn't happen on Sunday, therefore the jacket has arrived at my local UPS location in Williston, Vermont, and because no one's there it's just sitting in a truck awaiting an arrival scan and departure for my house tomorrow.

^^^^ hahaha seee! thats why we all want it taller because in pics it looks small.....but do your self a favor bro....stand up and put your arms by ur sides..how far do they go? about mid thigh. now look at the pic again and his suit is lower then his arms...that means its lower then mid thigh.

i am 5 8 and got Large and its the same thing....but in pics it looks like its at the waist hahah!

So since i have been constantly trying on my suit i have been having a lot of "what if" thoughts and figured i would share then in a hope of improvements for upcoming gear. i know first drop takes into consideration a significant amount what their customer says so here are a few things that i think would make this years suits and any later gear more appliable to a wider range of people.

1. I love the zip off sleeves. Maybe think about making the zippers waterproof and overlapping the zipper so that there isnt a whole for wind, water, etc to get into.
2. Keep the bib. its the 2nd year of the bib and its pretty signature of you guys. love the pocket on the bib, perfect for a cell phone or snacks.
3. Keep the medium weight liner. It gives people more of an option between other companies who use a shell. its all about preference and some people like to have an option between the shell and insulation.
4. Keep the magnetic system. its easy. its effective. it works.
5. You bumped it up to 20k/20k. Now bump it up to 3L.
6. Cut the jacket and pants a bit slimmer and a bit taller. I feel that perfect sizes for jackets would be 41/40" XLT 37" XL 34" L 31" M would be perfect for a wide range of people from 5'2" to 6'7". (those are all zipper legths)
7. Make the pant adjustment more adjustable. i found that i could only move it so much before i ran out of velcro.
8. More internal pockets. only two big internal pokcets is IMO boring. people love getting a new jacket and finding all sorts of pockets all over the inside of the jacket. although i must say that the smaller pocket inside the big mesh pocket is great.
9. Never ever take away the thumbies. they are the greatest thing in the world and are a must have on every jacket i have ever owned.
10. Make cinching the jacket less ugly. it only cinches in the back leaving the front normal and flat and giving the jacket an overall weird look. making the jacket cinch all the way around makes the jacket look the same all the way around and can help shorten the jacket if it is too big for someone.

those are just something i saw when i put on my suit and with those improvements could make a suit that is a solid 7 a 10.

nobody else notices the only technical detail they tried to do on the jacket which is the off color pocket flap is completely messed up? the lower side lines up but the upper is nowhere close.
