so even tho i dont know if im going to send back my suit or not yet i will still give my review.
1. Color:. I got Black Jaket and Blue n' Black Pants. Right away the first thing i saw out of the box was the vibrant blue. This really stands out and will make a statement on the mountain. The black i would call more of a very very dark grey when help up next to a true black crew that i have.
2. Size: XL suit. Zipper length of XL jacket - 35 inches. The xl pants are HUGE. Not only tall but i feel like they are a bit wider than normal. Overall i wasn't too impressed with the size. Personally i feel like the jacket is a little small and the pants are a bit big. They feel more like an xlt pant.
3. Magnetic System: No buttons. Everything has magnetic stays which i must say are pretty cool. The only down side to this is that when i go to unzipper the jacket you have to pull back each magnetic stay one by one. Also many magnets tend to pull to other magnets when the jacket is unzipped but its not really that big of an issue.
4. Durability: I didn't own last years FD so i cant compare. Feels like it can hold up but i wont be on snow for a few more weeks so i cant say much until i actually ski in it.
5. Features: A whole bunch of pocket all over the jacket and pants. Waterproof zippers on the main pockets. Zip off sleeves and bib which is my favorite part. "Thumbies" which are a great way to keep snow out of your jacket.
6. Warmth & Waterproofing: This suit can keep you warm in some pretty harsh temperatures with wind and what not. Medium weight liner makes the jacket nice and warm and comfy but still gives you some versitility with layering. I dont know how waterproof the suit is. 20k/20k is obviously very waterproof but i will have to do some tests on the fabric to see just how waterproof it is.
