Hey I was just wondering how thick a HDPE sheet should be for a box? I am going to want to countersink the srews and it's going to be 1ft wide by 10ft long
1/4" to 3/8" is recommended from what i've heard. don't go thinner, if you have the cash get the 3/8'. i just made a box was going to use this stuff so i searched everything about it, didn't actually use it. ended up using 1/2" pvc for like a quarter of the price. hdpe would obviously work better because its the real stuff but if you find that you don't want to spend that much just go with pvc; cheaper, lighter, slides pretty well too. just less durable and more likely to catch an edge. don't know where you can buy it locally usplastics.com has it but i would only buy it locally because its really heavy and will cost a shit ton to ship. if you got the money go for it though because it will last a while. just build it legit.
