What are they exactly? Is it worth it to pay a little extra for the newer model even if I can get the 03/04s brand new still. Thanks.

probably not enough to make a difference,ive heard of a delaming improvement and making the ski ski a lil stiffer under the boot,i'd go with 03/04

yeah its almost the same ski. i had to choose between the two a couple months ago and i got the 03 04 just because they were like 60 cheaper

only difference is: the new pe has a double binding mouting plate in the ski because of stripping bindings. 2 of my friends had that happen to theirs. mine are fine, but i did crack their 'thicker rail edges' in 5 places and i'm 90 lbs.:)

they made them a little bit more durable when it comes to chipping, and ur bindings dont rip out anymore, my bases are strong
