Are there any good mountains around scranton PA..im going off to school there next year and want to know. They have a little mtn. i think called montague near there, anyone know anything about it?

Montage is supposed to be a pretty good mountain. i dunno how the park is tho.



'Today i took a bus back home from town and this guy comes to sit next to me and he was so on pills or whatever.. anyways he pulls up a bag of pills and asks me do i want to get wasted and im like 'no thanks'.. so he looks a bit mad and puts the bag away, next he pulls up a box of chocolate-chip cookies and asks: Do ya atleast wanna have a fucking cookie' ' -Pekkis

^^^do yourself a favor NOW and GET OUT OF PA....yes theres some decent mts for pa around like elk and montage but ITS TERRIBLE. Pa sucks, parks are small,pipesa are small, everythin is just smaller-just find a better college to go to up north seriosuly that is if u wana ski and stuff

do not go to pa at all costs it is horrible...but if you must ski roundtop is 2 hours south of scranton and has a super pipe thats usually pretty good and a decent park...montage blows out the ass...jackfrost and big boulder seem decent and their not far from scranton

haha. Everyone hates Pa. Its so funny. Now I'm waiting for justin to post in here. Its his life duty to say 'I hate pennsylvania' more than anyone else on the planet.

just for you craig, I HATE PENNSYLVANIA! and josh is right, if you really wanna ski, PA is not the place to be goin to school. and stay away from blue if ya wanna ski a good park. frost and boulder werent too bad, bear creek was probably the best i skiied this year in PA

Montages park is terrible. They have their park on the same trail as the race course, so the park is maybe only 30 ft wide. They had like a 10 and a 15ft table and a few rails the longest is maybe 20ft and they are all low to the ground. Unless you have no other choice, there are good parks not too far away.

dude im sorry to hear ur goin to college at scranton, i mean u couldnt pay me to go there, first off yea everyone's right pa in general sucks, montage has a decent hit, i mean i started 3's at montage, boulder is prob. the 2nd best, i heard roundtop is pretty good with a superpipe, but i havent seen, blue is shit, dont go, i remember driving home with my mom from scranton the city itself is a piece of shit, not one thing since 1960 has changed, the weather always sucks, trashy, real run down, not something ur gonna like, im sorry but good luck

there are a few mtns around but also i have been scouting the campus and i found at least 5 or 6 urban rails so i'll have to see wahts going down next year
