This all day. Jack Johnson really can't even hold a candle to dmb...their live shows have so much energy its amazing

And there are new into/solo/jams/outro/bridges in every single show...even when they play the same place two night in a row the show is completely different

oh and butch taylor ftw...the guy is such a boss, definitely missed him on the tour

Dave Matthews is better because he has more talented musicians in his band, his songs have more variety, he is much better live, he improvises, and his songs have a deeper meaning.

Jack Johnson is alright, but most of his songs are way too bland. he is not good live, and I can't tell the difference between most of his songs. However he is a damn good surfer.

To further the point you're refuting, if there was a mountain of musicians and the greatest ones were at the peak and "artists" like justin beber and soulja boy were at the base...jack johnson would be about 15 feet from the ground

I enjoy his music and have a few of his cd's...but you're fucking kidding yourself if you think otherwise
