Music editing Programs for Windows?

I dont really know much about computers or anything but i want to get good at making beats and stuff and record vocals over them. Does anyone know any good programs for windows i should use?

i use Magix Music maker 16 premium, which i find is dope. theres complex shit to figure out in it, but you get the hang of it pretty fast. im not very pro at making music though, so id wait until a respectable beat-maker comments before downloading/buying something.

Reason 4.0 is what i use at school....ive never recorded vocals on to it though

I've been using Adobe Soundbooth Pro and Audacity and not had any problems with them

What kind of music do you want to produces?
I've always been using Ableton Live, but have been using Reasons 4.0 too.
Some of my friends use Pro Tools.
