Replying to Go pro helmet mount

ive got a go pro coming in  the mail tmro, was wondering where most people are mounting it on their  helmet...i havent seen the mount yet so i gues some of my questions may be answered when i do, but i was wondering if the top center would work to aim it both forward and backward? ...depends on how the mount works.  and that might look weird mounted in the middle? 

i plan to get the handlebar mount too and get some creative  mounts on my bike frame
