As soon as I saw the guy I became very skeptical, but there was nothing wrong with that. If I lived in Alabama I might vote for him, seems like he has a pretty good set of ideas, and he doesn't fuck around politically. Would be a good candidate.

i would call myself to be ridiculously liberal, and i agree with most of what this guy says. i disagree with the illegal immigrants comment, but i am ok with the gun. shotguns are fine to have on a farm, as i said earlier, in case he needs to kill that horse. but the reason this is funny is not that it is a satire of his political views, rather just the hilarity of the horse, the gun, the crappy editing...

funny funny. in Arizona, cops may now pull over anyone if they have reason to suspect that they are an illegal immigrant. how can anybody do that without racially profiling? would you pull over a white 17 year old because you thought they were an illegal immigrant? no. tons of hispanic people are going to be pulled over, accused, and had their time wasted now, legal or illegal.

From what I understand about the situation in Arizona is that it is getting rather difficult... the whole illegal immigration thing.

I understand the worry about racial profiling but at the same time illegal immigrants aren't... well.... supposed to be here.

i agree. illegal immigrants are illegal. but dont you think it would be more useful and "nice" for the government to make it easier to become a legal immigrant and collect tax, and not spend tons of money arresting and deporting illegals?

no, this is completely false. Read the bill and you will understand. What the AZ law does is simply put the FEDERAL IMMIGRATION LAW into effect because the Feds don't have the balls to enforce it. Police in AZ have the right to demand to see proof of citizenship if they catch that person committing a crime and have reasonable suspicion that the person is in the US illegally. Example-someone runs a red light, smashes into another person's car, cops are called in. Person has no license, no car insurance...most likely they are not a US citizen. Police officers can't just go banging down doors of mexican families. What the opponents of this bill spout is complete bullshit. No one demands papers, that is just a bullshit allusion to Nazi Germany. They demand ID's. I will restate this for those of you who are uninformed. AZ IMMIGRATION LAW IS THE FEDERAL IMMIGRATION LAW PUT INTO EFFECT. SOMEONE MUST BE COMMITTING A CRIME IN ORDER FOR POLICE TO BE ABLE TO DEMAND TO SEE PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP. Get over it, the country needs more rational policies like this one.

judging by the detail with which you described that, you are most likely correct. however, if a white guy has no car insurance or registration, do you think the cop is going to believe he is an illegal immigrant? there is no way for the law to work without it being almost completely racial profiling.

let me ask you how it is profiling to bust someone who is already committing a crime? If there is a reasonable suspicion that the person has no citizenship (ie. no insurance, no license, can't speak one work of English, runs away from the police, etc) what the hell is wrong with asking that person to prove that they are here illegally if they were in the process of breaking the law? I imagine if the evidence were sufficient, the officer would do the same thing no matter what the skin color is, but in AZ, this is hardly a problem, because the state is strained to the limit by violence, murder, and kidnapping perpetrated by crimmigrants who come predominantly from Mexico and other South American countries. I highly doubt there are Canadian nationals running around in AZ, or any southern border state for that matter, but I could be wrong. It just seems like common sense to me that the target group here is obviously those people who flood in literally by the thousands from Mexico and South America. I reiterate that there is nothing wrong with demanding the citizenship status of people who have proven to be criminals. Once discovered, they should be summarily deported.

I have a good example. In Massachusetts a few weeks ago, a Mexican man plowed into the back of a state representative's car. Funny enough, the state rep, Mike Moran of Brighton, MA, voted against the Steve Perry Amendment, which would require anyone applying for MA state benefits to prove their citizenship. The system in MA is abused by illegals on a daily basis and our politicians are too stupid or too naive to know it. Obama's own Aunt Zituni has been living in FREE taxpayer subsidized housing for the past number of years ILLEGALLY, but that's another story. Anyway, mexican guy rear ends a state rep, drunk as a skunk (to quote the Dragon) and police find out he has no drivers license and no car insurance. The cops tell him he is in very big trouble and the only thing he manages to slur back is something like "Nothing's going to happen to me, man. I'm going back to my home country, Mexico." Fucking ridiculous. On a further note, the guy was wearing a mariachi costume...what a BONER.

I hear this shit every day, but like Arizona, a majority of the MA population agrees with AZ law. Last I checked, 75% of Arizonans are fully behind Governor Jan Brewer.

I'm pretty liberal and I own several guns. Don't know where the fuck that idea came from. And it seemed to me that the only issue he mentioned was that Alabama is losing family farms so if hes gonna do something about that I support him for at least that issue.

Although i'm not from Alabama so my opinion on this guy makes no difference whatsoever.

Funny vid though hes trying way too hard to appeal to all the republicans with his use of stereotypes.

the fact that he has a gun isnt remarkable.

the sad thing is that a politician uses his gun in such an obvious way to get votes. which transports the message that having a gun is standard and every horseriding, cowboy-hat-wearing american should own at least 20 of them because its so fucking cool to have a gun. UHUHUH.
