All the new FT wider fit's are amazing. I've got a wider kicker myself and am totally stoked on the new option. These will all be in stock come August!
I heard somewhere that they were lowering prices this year? Like the booters are only $379 which isnt bad at all especially when you look at other boots with intuition liners (dalbello's cheapest with those liners is over $500)
but the hot doggers are going to be 500 which is still a drag cause the new design if kinda iffy. and then there are no more park boots left to choose from.
If you dont like the cable cover you could always take it off...and i believe the hotdoggers were still around $500 last year..except last year if you had the skinny foot you had the option of the cheaper booters, this year the booters are the wide fti so if you want the park boot in the normal fit you have to choose between the classic and hotdogger
So if my foots like 100-2mm wide and the Twall hotdogger is 99mm's wide will i fit in them? probably a stupid question becuase of the Moldable liner but its good to know
wait till they are available then go try them on at your local shop and get fitted for boots. the only way to know if you foot will fit the boot is to try them on.
in my booters i replaced the rigid with the active and i noticed a difference. the rigid is just that, its straight plastic thats as hard as a rock. the active on the other hand has some cushion to it which is pretty nice.
If you feel like you need to, do it. If your serious about park, it would be a great idea too. they seem to cushion your feet on rails and hard landings a LOT more than the rigid's do
