maybe you could give us some more information. you've said what kind of skiing you do but how good are you? do you prefer a stiff boot or a softer boot? do you care about colour of the boot?

these kinds of things would be helpful if you want some serious help. Plus, maybe you could tell us where you really live.

ok... i really live in Niskayuna NY. I prefer a stiffer boot and i dont really care wut color. I'm entering some competitions next year for freeskiing

salomon has some pretty good boots. u might wanna check em out. but since i don't really know ur skill level or what you ski on or what u do (freeski, all mt, ect.) i can't really give u a prescription son. go to a ski shop and ask someone.

skiMT is obviously ignorant when it comes to boots. the 1080 boot is designed for primarily park riding, and is rather soft. If you're looking for a good all mtn/big mtn boot check out the Salomon Pro Model boot, or the X-Wave 10.0. the Pro model is a bit softer than the x-wave 10. but you really should go talk to guys at a shop, they'll be able to give you a lot more info than most people on here will be able to give.

Okay, you want boot advice? Tell us how long your foot is, how wide it is, how thick your calves are, whether you feet are pronating or not, the exact shape of your feet, your budget, and we might think about giving you a really bad answer. Even better, send us all a mould of your feet, without the stinky cheesey smell.

Come to think of it, dont. Go see a bootfitter, get them to fit your boots. They know what to sell you, its what they do. Dont bother getting peoples opinions, they will only tell you that what they paid for is the best, plus most of them only get one pair of boots every year or two, and cant compare them like skis.



In tractor pulls, a 'full pull' is the best you can get. Ahh, how sport mirrors life.
