This is one of the worst, most unoriginal albums I have ever heard.
Drake just dons this fucking lame-ass, auto-tuney, lil wayne/t-pain/khalifa, whine that sounds like shit. Its just like completely jacked from all these other popular rappers .
Lyrically, Drake is the worst. Seriously the lines he says are so bad its humourous. Like if you listen to this album, actually pick out what he says and it is fucking so lame its funny. It sounds like a rich white suburban kid in high school who listens to lil wayne and tries to use his style to make up rhymes. I think I heard these lines, "your finer than my fine cousin" "I got you other rappers nervous, prom night", "I got money in my jeans so they fit snug". All his lines are so lame and just serve no purpose, he has no message or point. I'm not saying you have to be poor to be a rapper. But don't fucking put out an album where you just bitch the whole time...your like a rich child tv star from canada whose on young money and travels around the world and gets paid a shitload of money. Lyrically, theres no substance.
Production is mediocore, but pretty bad considering all the big names on that helped with this album. I don't think Drake has an ear for beats at all. Probably just accepted whatever stuff he was given. Doesn't compliment his style (if he has one), rather it sounds like tracks that didn't make a Jeezy, TI, Khalifa, Wayne album. There all so basic, very simple, very un-gangster, no attention to detail.
Okay this albums clearly for chicks.
