So no clue if this is the right forum to post in, or let alone the correct site but was hoping any of you mac users can help me in situation I am in. So i bout a 13 inch MBP this past summer and i think within <20 days my Apple care or warranty shit (idk the full name )is going to expire. I already had a hardware malfunction with my keyboard, had a lose connection somehow and they sent it in and repaired it no questions asked. I believe without my warranty this procedure would of cost me like $300 so I was glad it was covered.
My question is do you guys think its worth it to renew Apple care for an additional two years for like $250. $250 is large sum of money, I am trying to weigh the pros and cons to see if its worth it to protect my investment. So pretty much any information on peoples experience with this subject would be appreciated, in addition any information on what its like to try and repair something without Apple care.
