dont do it. it makes everything fun harder: pow turns cant be as slashy, you catch edges on rails 18498534234 times easier and more violently, and it makes butters way harder.
Personaly, I just ski them factory sharp and the tips and tails stay decent and the underfoot gets dull soon. Then I just ski them like that. But also factory sharp isn't very sharp bc I buy direct from rossignol.
I keep mine how they came everywhere except where I slide rails,
and just dull thAt section that will touch the rail, and don't forget to dull both skis(switchups) and the corect side of the ski...
as long as you dont sharpen to much underfoot you will be fine. I like to keep mine sharp about half way up the tip and tail so i dont catch anything but still have control on ice
