my dog died

today my little dog died of lung cancer....it was sad. its kind of wierd...not hearing those little clicks of her nails anymore on the wood floors...did anyone else who lost their dog go out and get a new one right a way? i was thinking of it and dont know...

Aww, I'm sorry Joei. I remember when my old lab died when I was nine. No good at all. We didn't get another dog for like five years. I don't know what I'd recommend... Kind of up to you. R.I.P. Jo's doggie.

We had to put our 15 year old dog down last week,..it was one of the hardest things i have ever had to do in my life

...And that's really weird that this topic was just posted because my parents are talking about my old dog right now and how I used to play with her ears like Dumbo and bite her tail when I was a bitty one.

I went on a house call with my aunt who's an emergency veterinarian when I was in California, and I saw this 17-year-old golden retriever. Soooo old for a large dog. My aunt said probably a record.

yeah we had to get ours put down last october, it was hard, i got it when i was 2, it watched me grow up and then we had to get rid of it

my golden retriever died back in 2001. that was really sad. she was more than a dog, it was like she was a actual person, the way she would look at you and listen when you talked to her. my mom was really hesitant about getting another dog, but we did get another one this past summer.

second hand smoke... anyways, one of my friends got a new puppy at the end of last summer and everyone loved this dog. it was crazzy. so my friend had a party and in the middle of the party the dog walked its way into the pool and drowned. what a part killer. it was really quite sad.
