I drink whatever I want, I don't let other people tell me what good beer is. But I still love PBR
you guys are all freaking out for no real good reason. PBR is only a virtual brewer which means it owns the name and license of the beer, but outsources the brewing to MillerCoors Inc, a huge brewing conglomerate. So, PBR "sold out" a long time before hipsters "ruined" it. its just trading hands, thats it. I wouldn't worry too much about the beer changing, or the price rising too much. it would lose its niche if that were the case, and the man who bought it, C. Dean Metropolous, knows enough not to mess with such success. He probably knows that if it aint broke, dont fix it. At least, thats what I hope...
In related news, Pabst brand also owns Colt 45, Schlitz, Old Style, and Lone Star. So the buying of the brand not only secures rights to PBR, but these exquisite libations as well.
your post has little relevance. and so do hipsters because pbr was owned by a non profit when it wasnt supposed to be so that why it had to be sold.
