naw its not too wierd, alot of people on here build summer set-ups for skiing rails and shit, check some out on here to get ideas how to make them, also a can practice on a trampoline to learn rotations in the air.

Summer setups can be fun, but they can also be expensive and frustrating. Blading, tramps, cliff jumping, basicely any sport that involves being in the air will help you come next winter.

This sir is correct. Summer setups are good if you want to get your rail game on, but if you really want to improve your jump skills for the season, developing your air sense is a huge part of it. Tramps, cliff jumping, and water ramping are all super good ways to develop your air sense, especially bed tricks on the trampoline.
