Expansion of Creative Ideas

Lately, I have been really interested in ways to expand my mind through drugs and natural methods. I enjoy thinking about things all the time and noticing subtle oddities. I don't really have a hard time thinking of creative ideas, which are for artistic purposes, such as drawing, but I just want to tap into it more. It's always nice to expand your mind and think more outside of the box. I pretty much strive for this everyday. So my main focus here is to explore my creative side through an altered state of mind achieved through drugs or natural means. Anyways, I want some advice, methods, stories/experience, and etc. of ways I can achieve this state of mind. And no, I'm not looking to do hard drugs such as MDMA, acid, heroin, meth, crack, and all that crazy shit. Maybe I should hallucinate to see images that I could then translate into a drawing? I was recently reading up on meditation for creativity. Has anybody tried that? Hopefully you guys/gals can give me some good info. Thanks.

yeah ive read into this stuff before. and i think summed up it said it differs between everyone. like getting high for some people may expand their minds creative side, but for others it just makes them brain dead. for me personally, getting high is amazing when it comes to creative thinking. for the last three years of high school i got high before each creative writing test, and got the equivelant of two A's and a B, whcih isnt that good, but man you should of seen what i wrote about. fucking bizarre.

and also from what i gathered from what i have read, it sometimes is only helpful for your creative side if you make it out to be, like almost placebo affect. but i think you cant expect to get high and ideas to instantly pop into your head. you have to be in the right state of mind before doing the drugs.

but yeah, i havnt really done that much other drugs, and i havnt read into meditation, but smoke some bowls and see what happens for you. even if you dont get creative, you will still have a good time ha

I dunno really what you're looking for I guess... I mean weed can definitely help you to tap into a creative side that you might not usually access but you won't hallucinate.

I like the idea of creative meditation though. sounds pretty sweet I'll have to check it out for when I'm making music

lately I've been analyzing our society and our civilization as a whole while high, it gives me a new look on everything. I've made some pretty large assumptions and theories which make people think differently. never experimented with anything else though, but I have an open mind for the future.

Yeah I get blazed everyday as it is and I do get great ideas, but I want to tap into those deep ones. It's so hard to explain, but I have a hard time explaining things that I have yet to experience.

well maybe you need to start experimenting with more intense drugs then? i havnt before, so i duno if it will, but thats what it sounds like you should do, maybe LSD or something?
