Its true. I am not a nirvana fan at all, but I am glad that they were there to change the sound of rock and get it into a new stage. He really did take a pussy way out though.

The guy was a heroin junkie, and tried to kill himself a few months before that. Even though Courtney is a nasty bitch who stole his songs she didn't kill him. He had this planned out from day one of his rock and roll stardom, he knew he would go down in history as one of the greatest rock stars ever if he was a martyr, but if he stuck around making subpar albums he would be Eddie Vedder, who no one cares about. Kurt was a great student of rock and roll and planned everything out ahead of time, his influences in Music, his drugs, his influence on music and his death. He basically knew that 4 unbelievable albums (Bleach, Smells, In Utero and Unplugged) would have a much greater affect than if he made 10 and only half of them were great. Also notice how every song but maybe one in unplugged had something to do with death, and the stage was like a funeral with all the flowers. Kurt is a god of music, but sadly we are probably better off without him, and he knew it. I just wish he hadn't had a kid. Nirvana rules.

all it was was the introduction to the 'grunge' scene that screwed them over... my teacher's band was like all classic rock like van halen and stuff, but then once the start of grunge came around, the movement left my teacher's band in the dust
