Throw some dr scholls massaging gel insoles into your boots their only like 12 bucks and it absorbs like all the shock if you hit the knuckle

But then you're standing on gel which allows your foot to move inside the boot, which can lead to a ton of fit problems, including shin bang.

But, what if you put it under the liner - still allowing for shock absorption but not letting your foot move around - similar to Full Tilts Active Boot Board?

I still think it's a bit too soft.  Proper cushioning takes into consideration your body weight plus the other forces you apply to it (i.e. the force of knuckling a landing at 30-40-50 mph).  You would smush it and it would lose it's cushioning characteristics.  That's why most any (good) shock absorbing boot board is denser than a gel insert.

in SPKs (maybe only pros) in the stalk insole it has built in gel heel, I acually preffer the stalk insole to my superfeet.
