Did you get them in the end?
Were they long, or are the sizes short like Volkl's?

the sizes run a little longer, my 181 jibs run the same size as my 185 atomic patents.

im 5'10" and ride on 181 jibs and have no problem throwing down on them...they just take a little time to get used to if you're used to shorter skis.

Should I pay a bit more and buy some Armada Ar6's in a 176cm, or should I go for the Moment reno jibs' in a 181cm and save a bit.
I am used to skiing a shorter ski.
I rode a 2010 Atomic punx in a 173cm.
Will it be a huge difference?
I can get the Reno jibs for 400 NZ dollars and the Ar6's for 700 NZ Dollars
(NZ=New Zealand)
Cheers

GET THE AR6'S. Ive got the 2010 reno jib in a 181 and even though it's a good lenght and stiffness for me, the ski didn't have that good feel to it like other skis (volkl, salomon or armada). And there not as light as everyone says, not heavy but the ar6 is much lighter. If your looking for a similar ski get the volkl wall 177 or if your heavy for your height 185 wich is pretty much the same height as the 181 reno jib. I owned a pair of walls and loved them.

If you want i got my 181 reno jibs on ebay.com.au for sale at the moment? Skied on for around 17 days, bottoms and rails in good condition (don't do much rail sliding). A few chips in the top sheet that happened in the first few day's (the top sheet chips pretty easy). marker jesters mounted dead center. probably go as low as $330. Have a look if your keen.

just get the moments, especialy if their centre mounted the size wont make a difference. they''ll also hold up longer too, my jibs are holding up way better than my armadas did, my armadas snapped in half a season, with the edge falling off. My moments have crazy topsheet damage, but the bases edges and sidewalls are still mint after a season

if its only the size you are worried about then do it, at the end of the day its only a couple of cms on each end, they will feel long for about half a day then you will be used to it. if your hitting more jumps than rails then the extra length will be great for stability.

Im 6'1 and my 181 reno jibs land above my eyes and below my hairline. If you go to youtube (reece skiing usa 2010) it might give you an idea what they look like skied on at my height.

I'm 5'6 70kg and I rode the 181 for a while wihout any prioblems. might be long if you intend to spin a lot on rails but for jumps the 181 will be the best.

This is getting ridiculous. The size is fine. It's a symmetrical ski which should be mounted centre, you're stressing about a matter of cm. Do you know how insignificant a that is once it's distributed over your tip and tail.
$400 is an awesome deal for NZ prices. Buy them before I do. Guessing you're looking at the ones on trademe?
