well today i was out in my yard just doing some yard work with my parents. i look up and see the "flight for life" helicopter and hear all these sirens. it was hovering over a lake thats about a block from my house. a few hours later on the news i hear a 15 year old boy has went under the water and never came up. then later, my girlfriend, whose grandma has an apartment on that very lake, calls and says that my friend Ron has drowned and died. he was the closest of friends, but we talked and chilled every so often. this put life into perspective, and shows you have to appreciate what you have. i feel horrible and im so sad, i cant believe what happened. i cant imagine what his family, and two best friends who tried to save him, but couldnt, feel. my prayers go out to Ron and his family, and for them to stay strong. dont take things in life for granted, and appreciate what you have.
i dont expect sorrow or anything, just hoping you guys can realize what you have, and appreciate it.
