Bitch sues bike trails for bank

This lady, "an experienced mountain biker" is suing the local reservoir for 2.9 mil, and it looks like she is going to win. She ran into a big sign across the paved road that was there to block off cars. The sign has been there for 36 years. She was biking the wrong way, claimed "she was looking down" and broke 4 vertabrae by crashing into this sign and is now suing, and if she wins all the mountain bike trails will be closed down. I don't know how many of you are mountain bikers, but there is over 50 miles of singletrack at this reservoir. I live right on the reservoir, and have been riding these trails since I was in 6th grade. I cannot believe this dumb bitch is going to ruin the fun for 1,000's of people that ride these trails.

To help out, search "Maribeth Blonski" on facebook and join that group. The group picture thing is the big sign that she ran into, that was considered dangerous because there was no warning the sign was there.

i just looked at the picture of the sign. wtf? how do you MISS that sign. its in the midle of a straightaway and is 2ft across and RED. shit like this makes me angry. hope the case gets tossed out of court

Exactly!^^^ If there was a warning sign, the dumb bitch would've just ran into that first, and would still be suing. Perhaps a fluffy padded warning sign? Or else people could try not sucking at life.

wow. this is fucking STUPID. says in the article that a jury already agreed with her. you can bet that none of them have ever ridden anything better than a $50 walmart bike. fucking cunts. the picture tells me that it wasnt a trail but actually a road. argument thus being invalid. im sending this shit to bike mag or something. this has me really pissed for some reason

and yes, its a road. a paved road. with quite a large and noticeable path going around the pole.

how the fuck do you hit that. even with your head down, she wouldve had to be standing on the bike looking straight down and sprinting.
