Building a lip/takeoff

I need your help. I've been trying all day to build a lip that actually works, and stays together. I've been trying to get creative with things like logs, but nothing is working. Any ideas?

go get some chip board (cheap plywood) i think a big sheet is only like $5

the only downside is it becomes weak after constant exposure to water.

i used old 2 by 4s and made a take off one time, used skids another time (actually what im doing now), used old failed attempts for boxes. all of those scenarios i put particle board (the cheap boards made out of wood chips) on top of everything for a smooth take off.

use anything thats sturdy and will hold together, but logs probably wont work unless you nail them together
