My senior prank, and consequently a $50,000 bill.

Well, last night was our senior prank. I really didn't expect all too much because I go to an all-guys private school that has been super strict on us seniors lately. I'm going to try and be as minimally self-incriminating as I can be for the sake of the senior class. We got an email at 4:00 yesterday saying that we were going to do our senior prank at 10. We planned on not even doing a senior prank because nobody could come up with a good idea that wouldn't get us in serious trouble (the suggestions were burn buildings, sacrifice lambs on campus, etc.). The email said we were going to move some furniture around from our athletic side of campus and camp out for the night. Well, it started off innocently, but somehow we got into the locked athletic building, took a golfcart, a car that waxes the floors, and the zamboni. We put them in various buildings on the other side of campus and all that good stuff, pretty harmless. We then go back to one of our friends open house nearby and just kinda chill for a little. But, apparently, people went back at 3 and took the zamboni for a ride into town. Somehow, the back of the zamboni was put into "slicking ice" mode and it fucked up two $15,000 blades. Also, while attempting to turn it on, there were three or four levers bent, etc. We had a couple kids get poisoned!...Alcohol poisoning but thats besides the point. Artwork was javelined through, and desks were attached to the ceilings, which consequentially fell down. We had a kid walk 17 miles home from Belmont to Charlestown on Route 2 (four lane highway) in the fast lane and other pretty crazy shit happen. Now, I did try to stop much of this from happening, I think it's bullshit and entitled for rich preppy kids to fuck shit up that costs more than some people's salary. No hate, I know that the destruction was fucked up, and I regret even being there and being associated with it, but that being said, it's a pretty damn good story that will be passed down from grade to grade for awhile.

I remember when I got a senior prank approved. it was the last year that the old building at school was in use, the maintenance guy let us in at 10 at night, and we tagged over every single set of lockers and doors and windows in the place, zip-tied every locker shut with industrial strength ties, and some other random shit. it was gold. the principal laughed so hard the next morning.

You guys have a fucking ZAMBONI at school? Which means you guys have an ice rink? That is seriously awesome, I wish I went to your highschool. I love hockey, but my school didn't have a team.

I always though the best senior prank would be going to a rival school and burning/spray painting another one of their rival schools' initials all over the place.  Someone should do this.

yeah, people tend to hate us. kids in my school say its because were nasty at sports, but kids from BH just have pretentious swagger about them sometimes and thats what screws our rep. whatever, im getting a great education so i could give a shit about the "brokeback hill" comments and shit.

No but seeing is it is the national sport I bet a lot more schools do........

Sort of like, in England or India or The Democratic Republic of Congo they probably don't all have baseball fields in their schools. In America its our national sport......so uh....we do all have baseball fields. We don't have Cricket pitches. In England and India and Australia, they probably do.

Sort of makes sense to me.

Haha nothing like a little warmongering between schools that aren't yours.

Pretty funny stuff babujib. Seventeen miles is a long way to walk in the middle of a four lane highway. Especially if there might be drunk Zamboni drivers on it.

Ive never heard of a canadian school with a rink or seen one. And ive never seen a canadian school without a baseball field.

Lacrosse is the national sport, we're just better at Hockey. Our school has a rink, it's in town though..but it's strictly for high school hockey games.

I looked it up and apparently in 1994 Canada named Hockey its national winter sport and lacross its national summer sport, although apparently before that it was just lacross.

And hey, maybe Canadian schools don't have hockey rinks. Just a guess, I've never even been there. Just explaining the logic, it makes sense to me that a country would have facilities for sports they like to play.

our skool seniors pulled the fire alarm 10 mins b4 the end of skool, they then waited outside with water ballons and pegged em at us. one guy got the principle in the face.

You gots ski trails? No fair. When I was growing up all I wanted was to be on a ski team. LA is not such a great place to be a skier.

Although you know, XC is like the most boring thing you can possibly do on skis.

Granted, there is not a single bill for $50,000, but two blades to the zamboni = $15,000 each. Some kids fucked with a $40,000 piece of art that was donated awhile ago. Waxing machine had some damages to it. Plus, some kids pissed and yuked on the carpets inside which might need to be replaced, so yeah big money. Screws woulda been a good idea. Just found out that my headmaster had his entire family over his house (which is on campus, the zamboni was parked in front of his house from midnight until 3) for his nephew's graduation. Today in school, some teachers refused to even talk to any seniors, while some thought it was hysterical. Tomorrow is "prize day" which is basically some bullshit day with no classes. Then we have finals, and then hopefully graduation. Pretty good timing if you ask me, because we don't have to deal with the awkward classes and shit.
