you can buy an 06 final ball off ebay for around $250 or so.

I nearly got one of the jo'bulani balls for $50 last week due to a misplaced price tag, but unfortunately the managers knew full well what i was up to, and that i knew exactly what the price should've been. So it fell through.

it's one of those things where i know i'd love to play with the ball day after day for years, and in 4 years i'll regret not buying one, but i just simply cannot justify spending $150 on a ball. I figured with the new design the teamgeist prices would come down, yet it's still more than $100 for one. Eventually a decent match ball that's outdated by 10 years will still cost $200.

the other day a mate bought the Jo'bulani, have had a kick with it on various surfaces, behaves irratically (but better on synthetic), very easy to juggle but hitting it with your bootlaces it just flies so true and straight, so fun to just hit it.

If you watch some of the shots, specifically the goals, the ball has a varying left to right curve. Like they kick it with their right foot, it curves left but then decides to slide right.

FINAL IS TOMORROW. Pretty excited.

one of the best hits of the tournament imo.

and that's such bullshit. suarez made a REACTION play on that ball. any other decent player in that position would make that same play purely based on instinct.

i have nothing against suarez's handball

it was a decision made within the rules to save a game. if fifa has such a fucking moral problem with it then do something about it but he took the foul and the red card in order to save his team which he did. wtf was he supposed to do, just watch it go in and give up?

too bad about uruguay, i thought forlan had that in the end but in the replay even if it was on goal the keeper would've had it

Great game, very exciting.
was pulling for Uruguay, but they should still be happy with what they accomplished.
Diego Forlan is my player of the tourny, played amazing on an average team.

too bad he couldnt get that freekick to drop just a little.

Now that we all agree on how fucking awesome Forlan is (Forlan FTW (regardless of Uruguay's loss)), did anyone else see his facial herpes in the France and SA games? Hahaha I hope it was just an awkward looking scratch or something.
